To be serious for a moment, this documentary does suggest there's merit in Hatsumi's claims.

In particular, the point made at 1.24 seems legitimate to me.

    I see what you mean.

So are you going to revise your assessment of Hatsumi's claims? That's a pretty serious piece of evidence, which I've not heard a single counter-explanation for.

My assessment? I take it you completely misconstrued my point.
Hatsumi-sensei has my full and unadulterated support.

    Wrong.

You endorsed the 1881 copy, certified by Mizoyina's Koryu Adjudication Committee (KAC). I'm talking about the much older, pre-Meiji scrolls. They predate the KAC-certified documents by generations, and their script is more fitting for agricultural peasants in that era.

Are you even bothering to read this properly, or are you just skimming the details?

    You ought to know better.

Wrong again. I suppose you didn't know that anything related to Takamatsu-sensei is the only allowance I make for an appeal to authority. He IS the Mongolian Tiger, after all.
Hell, Rickson Gracie could tell me tell me that his sleeper is so good, he can choke someone out in under three seconds and I'd immediately shout "Ha! Prove it!"

    Takamatsu? Are you serious?

First of all, you've misspelled his name. It's Takomatsu - you've unwittingly adopted the Japanese spelling, rather than Okinawan.

Second, his authority is seriously suspect. Remember the Leuchensis case, in the Sino-Japanese debacle? Are you going to tell me he escaped with his name unsullied?

I don't think so. Grow up, mate. Your research is seriously dodgy.
