Fight was pretty awful even if he was holding back. Don't these guys still need to finish to get paid?
There doesn't appear to be as much house drama as in past seasons, but it looks like Brock is going to end up losing. At the end of the show it looked like he was pushing his guys until someone got injured, and then one of his coaches makes the "cut it out" gesture towards him. It also looks like he basically insults and chastises (probably after a loss) his entire team. What a great coach.
And maybe I'm an asshole, but I thought that him pulling each fighter to the side to ask them why they wanted to be there was incredibly arrogant and stupid. I also thought Lesnar and his coaches way of testing the guys was incredibly inferior to JDS's and it's going to show during the season. JDS got the 2 guys he wanted with second pick. Usually coaches are trying to get the same 2 or 3 guys.

I knew it was unrelated to Brinn.
Shamar Bailey did live training in a gym.

I can also attest to the fact that Shamar didn't show any where near all his skills. I train with the guy, and he's a beast. I expect awesome things from him on this show.

Well, he clearly didn't struggle with the German dude. I was just surprised that Shamar didn't finish given his obvious superiority on the ground. Sounds like he was indeed holding back. If he's all that skill-wise as well as being an intelligent tactician, he'll be a top contender for sure.
I wish him good luck despite the fact that I think of Brinn whenever they say/write his name.

i could tell he was doing the roy nelson strategy. he's not gonna hurt himself on his first fight or two. later in the show, he's gonna be a machine gun.

I'm just glad we get to see it on free to air tv ( or peasant vision as I like to call it ) down under.
Anyone want to make a guess on how many times we'll hear Lesnar use the phrase " Turn chicken **** into chicken salad " during the series.
I'm sure I heard it three times in the first ep.
Can't wait to puff da chest out & use it myself!!
