There are some great fights, Bob Sapp vs Crazy Bear.

The Arabs certainly mean business, they paid the winner of the tournament $250,000.

They are certainly a promotion to keep an eye on, they are talking as if they are going to take on the UFC , a bit of a tall order but it will be fun to watch them try especially if its free!

LOL, I think Bob Sapp was there for marketting reasons.

They had allot of the usual suspects like Jeff Monson in the tournament.

Its only their 3rd show I think but they are certainly not pulling any financial punches.

Some of the other fights where really good.

Damn, I was hoping to go and see that. I got sent the link a couple of months ago, they had the date listed as TBA. Looks like I missed it :(.

Have signed up for their newsletter though, so hopefully I'll catch the next one.

It's nice to the sport get more exposure in the Middle East, I went to visit my family in Egypt and MBC Action (the action block part of MBC network, a Saudi owned network based in Dubai and broadcast around the Arab world and has like 8 channels) broadcast an MMA program called Tapout!

For those in the UAE, OSN shows lots of UFC: Fight Night, Ultimate Fighter. My Du decoder records the stuff faster than I can watch it.

The ADFC people where talking about doing a show in Egypt this year (situation permitting) , they where very keen.
Im hoping they do, Always wanted to go to Egypt and to watch MMA whilst im there will be a huge bonus.

You know, I still can't believe that Sapp had beaten Hoost (under K1 rules !!).
Seriouly, that was a small miracle.
Their second time was a bullshit stoppage due to Sapp's popularity, but the first one... Wableugh :HerpDerp:
