I tried looking and found this.
Edit: Pretty sure there is such a thing, but I was unable to find decent videos of it. The only halfway decent one kept degrading into crappling.

The legend goes that hardcore Capoeira involves the use of knives (sometimes used with the feet even?) and can sometimes be to the death. However, the same has been said of Wing Chun and even Tae Kwon Do (the to-the-death part, not necessarily the knives part).
Part of me has always been fascinated with Capoeira for the athleticism and gymnastics-like cool flips and ****. But what would full contact Capoeira really end up looking like once the combatants engaged? My guess is push kicks, roundhouses, overhands rights, and generally, the type of h2h that you see in most combat settings.

Try searching youtube using the term "batizado" with "capoeira". The batizado ("baptism") is a public showing of your skills, so tempers occasionally run high.
