I just lost all faith in the ATF

So apparently someone from the ATF seized a shipment of airsoft guns from Taiwan and claimed that they could be converted into real rifles.

I just don't know that to say. I can't believe that actually happened. And I can't believe that an ATF agent apparently doesn't know anything about guns.

Still sad. Basically, from what I have read, you spend more money to modify a fake gun than if you purchase a real one. Also, apparently, it can only spit out 15 rounds before failure.

Just looked it up. CBS News has coverage. Obama says mistakes may have been made. I just sent an email to the White House asking them to fully investigate and hold accountable.

What bothers me is that this is seen as having something to do with Obama being in office. The tags on that video, such as “new world order” demonstrate the axe the uploader intends to grind.

Instead of the aforementioned phrase, the video should've been tagged with “peter principle.” Incompetence is everywhere in our society, and I don't think we should be surprised that it exists in the ATF. Angry? Sure, but not surprised. How would the NRA feel if Obama said this ATF agent was doing a “heck of a job” (allusion intended)?

Long story short: while this pisses me off, it only pisses me off a little more than the “reporter” who can't manage to say “Freedom of Information Act Request” properly.
