    Glutamine for growth hormone

    Hi,

I read something like this about glutamine and growth hormone:

Stimulation of the pituitary gland increases production
endogenous growth hormone. And this is where glutamine intervenes.
An addition of 2g of glutamine causes 30 minutes later
high blood levels of growth hormone. This rate decreases
then gradually return to normal, 1:30 later.

Thus providing 2gr-3g of glutamine several times a day (per
eg every 2:00), can raise the rate of growth hormone
throughout the day and stimulate anabolism naturally.
It is interesting to take one of these doses in the evening before
bed, because sleep is the time where natural production is
    more important.

So it looks like this. It was in french at first but I tried to translate it the best I could.

Another article shows clinacal results of this test, and it seems like it gave really good results, without being extraordinary though. 2g every 2 hours is not much and we can see results with this, according to what I read.

I wanted to share this with you and know what you guys think about it.

TBH glutamine is an essential training supplement for me but not for the minimal increase in growth hormone. Simply put, it allows me to train harder and more frequently. Also if im trying to lose weight, its useful in reducing catabolism or even preventing it while on a calorie deficit so its great.

You won't absorb is through your gut unless you're seriously injured - like third degree burns or post surgery.

Can you provide any literature related to this point? Anecdotally, Glutamine does me a lot of good...then again, I'm a spastic. Here is my thought: “Could it be that my spasticity keeps me permanently injured, so to speak, or is there something more specific I can learn?”

Just an FYI: Glutamine and Glucosamin are not the same thing.
