In fact, when Royce was due for his next fight (remember, the old UFCs were single-night tournaments), he was sufficiently injured that his corner threw in the towel before the fight began: He was too injured to go on.

At this point, Joe Son (who was, as you said, Kimo’s manager) ran into the ring and did an ecstatic victory dance. Yes: After Kimo was beaten, Joe Son gleefully celebrated the fact that Royce was injured. Very classy.

In the next UFC, Joe Son himself fought and was gloriously punched in the balls over and over again. After his behaviour last time, I felt this was very appropriate.

It was legal at the time. They didn’t have nearly as many rules and safety regulations in the early UFCs as they do now.

That's the old UFC, when groin strikes were legal.

I know the first UFC's were very liberal back in the days that Royce Gracie was the man and Ken Shamrock was the special fighter... But I did not think groin shots were ever legal...

You should really work on reading more and posting less. It will help, honestly.

Chubsy-Ubsy gets my vote. He claimed to be a bagua player if I remember correctly, and made a stink about the UFC being afraid of him.

You have a valid point, and at that level conditioning makes a world of difference. But for him to beat Heath Herring, then Mir, then THE RANDY COUTURE, Barely get by Shane Carwin, and get dominated by Cain Valasquez!!!! He is the king Poser in my opinion !!!
