Try ice baths. I've recently discovered the joys of screaming like a little girl and shivering uncontrollably. On the up-side, most aches and pains just magically disappear until the next time.

I can make most dates during the summer except July 23-29 and the week in August that Camp Skeletor (can't find the dates right now) is being held. I'm willing to go to San Antonio, Dallas or Houston.

The next texas throwdown should take place in the wave pool at the Shlitterbahn waterpark in New Braunfels

I'm up for pretty much any time. I would prefer Dallas as it is just easier to drive to (only about 4 hours instead of the 8 for Houston or even more for Austin).

Fantastic. So far, I'm liking the idea of Dallas if it gets us a broader range of participants, especially from out of town.
Anyone here who knows of other TX folks on Bullshido, I humbly request that you point them in the direction of this thread. The more participants, the better.

I would really like a Texas Sized throw down. I did find a group on this site for Austin but i think the group is dead. Well I should not say that, I think life just gets in the way. I am off today and can't wait untill class starts Most of my sorness has gone away. Taking a shower as hot as you can works wonders.
Probably dead for a while because they recently organized something perhaps. I say, go join the Austin group and chat em up. If anyone's interested, either find out what their willingness is, or point them to this thread. I'd like to see a major turnout worth the drive, and hopefully get some good vids and pics worth showing off on Bullshido.

As added incentive, Sri Hanuman has been working on perfecting t-shirts such as this one, which he gave me at our last little throwdown:
This is a Beta version of the shirt, I know he's already made a better one for Coach Josh. While I can't speak for Sri, because I know they cost him some money to make, the possibility is out there.
Edit: I uploaded the pic to a Bullshido album, and linked it above using the [IMG ] tags, but I'm not seeing it. Here's the non IMG link:

Dallas would be great. Houston or Austin better. We have more bullies south than Dallas does. (Sorry Joe).
I can provide the gym if we rallied in Houston. We have about 1500 sq feet of mats at our dojo. Small but works fine. We might even be able to get Coach Josh to come. Jnp will show and thats two high level peeps that can provide some seminar.
Same for Austin. Hopefully Zapruder will be around. I'm good for weekends but I usually coach my daughters soccer teams -so thats sat mornings. Sat afternoon n Sunday are typical td times however!

Excellent! So we've got a place in Houston, which puts that area in the lead. NWP, sounds like you'd be willing to go to Dallas if we could find a place there? I only ask because our OK friend and perhaps some others might be able to make it to Dallas but not Houston. Also, since you didn't specify any particular dates, does that mean you'd be able to provide a spot for us at a variety of dates?
