    Hell yeah! Hell no!

International Wing Chun Day 19th of March 2011

Just wondering (for all practitioners of Wing Chun), will you/your school be promoting this?

This is the first I've heard of this and only came across it on another site. I know there's a couple of Wing Chun clubs within my area, but nothing has been advertised.

Just wondering if this "international" day is mainly in the US or if it really is world-wide.

I've never heard of him either, but with a little searching I found his school's web site. They also have a frequently asked questions page, which answers some of the questions folks here might have about them, although I couldn't find any video or pictures of them training on their web site.

There are some pictures on their Facebook page though.

    EDIT:

No, but it is the second day after St. Patrick's Day. As a person of Irish descent, I don't expect to have recovered from my hangover by then, so I'll have to miss it.

    EDIT EDIT:

Oh, and a search for "international wing chun day" turned up 2330 hits when I tried it, so it's probably not just something this guy made up. Our friends over on KFM also have a thread about it.
