Shadow of The Dragon
Has anyone heard of Shadow of The Dragon Kung Fu? If so, what are your thoughts?
Never heard of it, and I've been paying attention to kung fu for quite some time. Where'd you hear about it? Does someone teach it near you?
I haven't heard of it either. At first glance, it has the ring of something that someone made up because it sounds cool. But if you can find any information on it, by all means, please post it and we can give you some informed commentary.
Yes, there is a school near me. It's been around (at least in my area) for long while.

He admitted he never learned jeet kun do nor considers this apart or like that style in anyway. He called it shadow of the dragon out of respect and honor for Bruce Lee much like shadowing his movements if you understand, not mimicking (sp?) or copying. That's all I can remember at this time. I sat in on a class were he was teaching children and it seemed pretty good. But I have a background in Shorin Ryu.

My advice would be sit in on some more classes, and ask if you can try a complimentary trial class or two. Find out what the school has to offer YOU, and if it fits your needs, then go for it. If it doesn't, walk. Just don't make up your mind ahead of time. Accept both "yes" and "no" as possibilities.
