K, just checkin'. I was just reacting to the idea that "most people here" doubt the change of trapping a jab, cuz in my little experience it was far more wide-spread than just here. Both my teachers said it was just foolish to try to trap a jab and recommended just keeping hands up, moving the body and head, "pak"ing jabs away, etc.

Ha! I remember training with Brendan Lai, and I would try not to giggle every time he'd say, "When he jeb, you haf to PAK him!".

For others, FYI, Pak Sao, or Pai Shou, means slapping hand.

For sure. I'll do a better job of throwing stuff up and communicating more precisely. I can see how a lot of stuff can get twisted. Thanks for bein' patient with me breda.
