Hey I've seen you guys before- the Mantis school, right? Was that at the Chinese new year thing downtown? I've performed there a few times.

Yup. We were formally The Traditional Kung Fu Academy, but changed our business name to Immortal Fitness Martial Arts. We moved from Kearny Mesa and now train at The Yard in Miramar.

What school are you from? We probably have met in the past.

I was from the White Dragon school that also performed at the Chinese New Year festival downtown for a few years. We did the lion dance, where I was a drummer some times and the tail other times. I also did a few clf forms up on the stage (I remember doing spear vs broadsword 2 man, butterfly swords, and the garden hoe, possibly some other stuff too). I stopped training with them over a year ago and have switched over to learning Filipino martial arts now.
