    acl recovery

Yo, i had ACL surgery 6 and a half months ago, and am looking to get back into Taekwondo and other martial arts. I just started doing Tai Chi (only cause its the only martial art im well enough for yet) and was wondering if anyone on here has had the same surgery, and if so, how long did it take you till you got back into martial arts? any suggestions?

I have had both ACLs redone and got back on the mats as soon as I could. Do your PT and start doing Judo.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

As soon as the incision healed I was back at it and 8-12 months to be back to "normal" you will never be 100%
