If Bruce Lee gets in there then the author isn't doing his job properly.

    But +1 for Kano.

Frankly if you don't have a small statue of Kano on your car dashboard like an Indian taxi driver in an Bruce Willis film then you aren't really a proper human being. Having a weird mat of lumpy wooden beads draped over you seat is optional though.

So, if you have a crash and he ends up sticking out of your eye socket...?

    Is that ippon?

Edit: as to the subject of the thread - I reckon that those who will be remembered by history will be those whose followers have the biggest mouths. Whether they were good or not is a secondary issue...

I nominate Josh Koscheck and Brock Lesnar for leaving an irreversable mark on MMA.

    How about Matsumura and Itosu

And you have to include Funakoshi, although the unintended consequences of him bringing karate to Japan was the gradual decline into sport krotty and the spiral downwards to XMA. But he still had a big effect overall, both good and bad.

Wait, what? Which mark is that? The introduction of the Heel character concept to MMA? Because I can't think of anything else that someone didn't do better earlier.

(I actually do want to know, by the way.)

Agreed, I'm amazed Midway didn't sue over that one. Still, thought he did pretty decently for a wrestler considering the era it was in.
