We probably shouldn't have waited till the very end to stage the shots. I think we were all tired and in a hurry to get it wrapped up. I know by that point I could no longer feel my feet.
In the instructor's defense, nowhere in the curriculum was I told to confront a knife-wielding attacker by standing bolt-upright with my barrel 2 inches from their chest. However, I would like to point out that I was totally checking the ceiling on the room clear shots.
Yes, they taught us how to plot out points and the distance between them on a map as well as pace counting and using a compass to find the points we plotted.Last edited by money; 9/20/2011 8:55am at .

Awesome. I did some orienteering competitions in boy scouts. It wasn't serious, the competitions were mainly like go from point A to here. We were local to the terrain and sorta knew where we should end up. We'd usually win by getting lucky with picking the routes, and just running as much as the trails as we could.
