Stopped in there a few days ago. Really nice gym close to 3 major roads/highways.
Watched the striking coach demonstrating a point to his class and he was really focused on making sure everyone was grasping it. He seemed very down to earth also.
I wasn't in there 30 seconds before someone stopped training to come and talk with me. I said I could wait for someone else, (who was with another prospective member) since I didn't want to interrupt his workout but, he stayed to help me anyway.
Lots of parking too. I've been to gyms where parking just sucked so I always look for this now.
Seemed to be a good amount of equipment ie. bags/pads etc.
I saw a cage as well.
Thay also have classes morning/noon and night. And open mat every day (i think) This was really important to me due to my work schedule.
All this was gleaned from about 5 -10 min inside the gym. I'm sure they have more to offer. I'll find out Friday.
    So far though, I'm impressed.

Just wanted to update and correct my previous post.
I had my intro lesson today. The guys who worked with me were really helpful. I learned a few new things right away and it was a very comfortable environment.

I MADE ONE ERROR on my previous post. They don't have a cage YET. It is simply a caged weight area. I'm told they are already working on moving next door to a bigger space where they will have an elevated full cage.

Also, the shower and locker area is CLEAN. For those of you who don't smell like wilderbeasts (and I thank you) I'm sure this will be a +.

Is Lindhurst close to Brentwood Long Island? I'll be there on at least one business trip over this summer and might get a chance to drop in for a BJJ class.

Are visitors welcome? Matt fee? Any club specific rules that I would need to respect?

Cool, I'll have a rental car. Lemme check the schedule and call ahead to make sure that dropping is OK.

Should I walk in like I own the whole planet and call anyone that doesn't do Wing Chun or TKD a *****? :)

When I call ahead, who should I talk to?
