I did make the mistake of thinking it would be a great idea to go to a one point sling. Being a fobbit and having a one point sling is a very shitty combination. The excessive swaying of the weapon is annoying.

One of the guys in my office made a sling out of 550. It looks like a giant version of the paracord bracelet.
