Has the idea of Teacher and Student changed?

This just isn't the case and the history of martial art styles in Japan and how they developed proves it out. Additionally, Karate students in Okinawa were always going against their master's wishes and sneaking off to get into fights to prove their skills. 500 people on this thread can complain about my reading comprehension skills and logic, I don't give a rats ass, because I know I am 100% correct in what I have said on here.

I never argued that students don't blindly follow their teachers. Many of them have and did all throughout history and indeed still do. Why not read what I am saying with a bit more care before you type in response to my words? What I said was not all students have and this has always been true.

I can't help it if you guys can't read. Anyone with an honest intellect and half a brain would understand that when you say "citizens never blindly followed their leaders" and then in the next sentence say "there has always been a citizen that has spoken out." you aren't saying that no citizen didn't blindly follow their leaders.

I did. I paid close attention to the points you've highlighted and I still have to disagree.

Apple pie is, and always has been, a delicious treat. I don't care how many times you try to reframe the argument or however many classic examples you bring up, apple pie will always be a considerate dessert option for the masses.

In fact, I would venture to guess that every single apple pie ever made has been scrumptious. On top of that, there has been one apple pie that fell short of delicious and went on to become a rubarb.
