Got some new grips from Carl Wallace who is a professional grip maker.
These are Desert Ironwood.

Yeah I bet the images don't actually do the grips full justice.
How do they feel in hand ? I'm presuming they are polished so, do they feel slippy at all?

They are smooth, but I have a grip of death so they feel like part of my hand.
I have another set of blanks that I sent to the maker and he is going to be doing a tactical checkering on the next pair.

Nice grips. I always end up with VZ grips with the roughest textures possible. Love the look of wood above all else, but I like rough as hell grips for shooting since my hands sweat like a mofo. If you can death grip it, good on you.
