    Don't do push ups then...

    Some shoulder injuries can heal themselves because they're on the border line threshold. Also sometimes surgery is too risky compared to potential gains because that area has lots of blood vessels, muscle attachments etc...

    When I broke my shoulder I ended up seeing 4 surgeons before I was happy with the non-surgical option with each one I specifically asked them would I be able to weightlift and endure rugby style impact. Then again I can see them as many as I want for free because of the NHS, but you might not be able too.

    Do tandoku renshuu at home, Kikool. Stretch, work on your lower body and whatever upper body work you can without stressing your injury.
