    Training in the summer months?

Well I know for half of you folks its probably winter where you are. I've always personally felt more lively during the winter months, but during the summer months I find myself tired and groggy which doesn't make training that much more fun. I spend most of my time sleeping during the heat of the day. :sleepy1:

No training = Unwanted weight (fat) gain. :icon_sad:

What do you guys do during the hot days of summer to keep you up and about?

Either train early or late or harden the **** up and train like it's the heart of winter.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

Last summer I was at a boxing gym all summer with no A/C here in the Oklahoma heat. I just STFU and trained.

    This

My garage gets to -30 in the winter, and 110 with 100% humidity in the summer. It has no heat or air. I still train in it. I bundle up when it's cold, and I dress down when it's warm.

If you want to train, you will train.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. Same here, it's south Texas, it's both hot and humid here in the summer. I love to go running in the heat of the day. Either you get used to it, or you tell yourself you're not only running, you're making yourself tougher. And it works on your tan.

Yeah, my wife thinks I'm crazy when I try to run during the hottest part of the day. Working up a sweat feels great, and after our absurdly cold winters, I like to charge up on as much sunlight as possible, haha.

I too particularly enjoy this variety of man tanning. With the added benefit of the sauna. Multitasking at its finest.

    HA, I live in Israel.
What is this Winter thing you mention?, what do you mean by cold?
I am unfamiliar with these terms. Must be a language barrier thing.

Eskimos supposedly have like 100 different words for "snow". No doubt, people in Israel and the Middle East have just as many words for "hot" and "sand".

And there's something a little funny about knowing that every single person who sees you thinks you're certifiably insane.
