In order to challenge an entrenched system of knowledge or discourse requires that you fundamentally understand the subject matter in order to deconstruct it and then challenge its assumptions.

You don't seem to fit the above criteria.

It has nothing to do with logic, btw. Logic can be internally correct and come to the wrong conclusion because of incorrect/or lack of premise.

And I already answered your question regarding what makes ippon ippon.

Oh no! Not trolling really, but then a troll would say that, wouldn't he?

Seriously though, I am actually interested in other peoples point of view about this; about why people get so upset about the calls made by referees.

As Judoka_Uk mentioned, it's "bloody obvious" that each individual referee will make a judgement call at the time. And it's also quite obvious that a referee can make a mistake. And most people are aware that most people are pretty confused about what the rules actually mean. So, once the competition is over, and the medals have been handed out and it's all written down in the history books, what's the point of making such a fuss about the obvious?
I was hoping to get people to lighten up a little bit..

Yes, I understood. I was just expanding on your theme, and trying to express that the question(s) are a bit more complex than as posed.

Thank you for your efforts to educate us all on the proper attitude to take regarding referee decisions. Without your guidance I know that I would be lost for sure and would be working myself in to an acid reflux frenzy over it.

I feel like I just lost by the forum equivalent of ippon.
    Or was it ippon?

Shall we go to the replay?

You can't really argue with that, can you...

Loosely translated, if at first you don't succeed, keeping on sucking until you do suck seed.
