Any Torontonians?

Anyone here from the big smoke, York, hogtown, the megacity, T.O, 416, aka the center of the universe? Anything within an hour probably counts since you are still part of the larger vortex.

Into boxing here - trained - competed amateur - and also into mma (not much ground training). Always looking to meet cool people for sparring...friendly competition.

I've have a Goju Ryu karate background, but have started again in Judo.

Where do you train?

The big smoke? TO isn't that bad really. Even the last summer, I think we only had 1-2 smog warnings.

Piz, have you never heard that nickname for Toronto? I remember it from when I was a kid, though I must admit I don't know when or how the name arose.

Check out 'toronto throwdown group' on facebook. The bullshido throwdowns have taken on a life of their own, all videos and pics are posted there plus notice when one is coming up. Usually every three months or so.
