How sooner there's an exact date, the sooner I can buy tickets with Ryanair. Will be fun to see to see the faces at customs when they open my backpack ;-)

Just to make it clear. I can come there, with zero shooting expreience (no gun license either ofcourse), borrow some guns from you and get novice instruction and shooting practice. Correct?

If so, how much will the ammo cost?

Also, I'm up for some sparring, rolling afterwards. Let me know if others as well, then I'll bring my gear etc.

I'm willing to get punched in the head a bit, although I'll have to remove my eye beforehand just in case. I just don't own any stand up gear at all.

I'm up for the rolling bit too. That's what I'm supposed to know. Supposed, yeah..

Sparring is supposed to be the main course and shooting the dessert...

The shooting range is a place to practise sharp shooting on paper targets - you either come there with your own permit, gun and ammo

or

with somebody who has a permit

or

you can hire an instructor from the range to accompany and instruct you.

Basically, if you've never shot/held a gun before there's only one thing to keep in mind at all times:

NEVER TURN ANYWHERE WITH THE GUN EXCEPT AT THE TARGET.

There are other basics of gun safety, but this is the most crucial one.

The rest is just aiming and pulling the trigger. :-D

They actually love foreigners, especially gun-hungry islanders... :-)

Can't tell you exact figures, but for the few minutes/rounds we will be there it doesn't really cost much.

Plus you can take home your paper target to show off... :-D

Like Tonu said: ALWAYS keep it at the target, when empty, load it through til it clicks, magazine out and barrel faced away from you and others on the table.

It's been years since I shot.
