    Best reason for skipping training

I drove into rush hour traffic today to go the "advanced" class. I left at 5:20 and was about 3/4 of the way there when I turned around because frankly I was starting to go nuts. I'm pretty level-headed but when it comes to traffic and certain other issues, I start to display weird behavior, like screaming at my windshield and other ****. It took me 40 minutes to go about 7 miles.

I measure the amount of stress relief I would gain by the horrifying thought of another couple miles of stop and go traffic, and arriving late. I HATE being late to anything.

I turned around. Now I have ever intention of going over to the gym, but still....

Haha! I once skipped training due to traffic. Not being a fan of his, I was unaware that Usher was in concert next door to my gym one time and didn't account for at least an hour and a half extra time to get to class. I tried like a trooper.. but the concert also had anywhere within walking distance posting signs that parking was for their customers only and others would be towed. After about 45 minutes trying to get at all close to class, I turned around and headed home. I also find joining class late to be unacceptably distasteful and somewhat disrespectful to the teacher.

Skipping training? Well, skipping rope is pretty essential to good cardio, conditioning and footwork, so you should do a lot of skipping training.

Why, I've been skipping training for the past 3 years now.

I never miss an opportunity to perfect my frolicking technique, especially if I have a field of flowers just a short drive away.

    You should be ashamed.

I recently was headed to class, but got rear-ended by a car on the way there. I ended up skipping the class to fill out a police report.

well, let me tell you how i go to training everyday.

I leave work at 6 pm and take my bike, i ride the bike for 30 minutes to the subway station and i take the subway for 1 hour.
I always be late for class for 5-10 minutes.
I finish the class and take subway again for around 1 hour, and this time i am heading home so i take the bicycle for another 40+ minutes. (normally it should be around 35 but i feel tired as hell so cannot go so fast)

and eat my dinner at last, around 11:30-12:00

I already talked with my instructor so he doesnt mind when i am a little late on trainings.

I think you quit pretty easy.

See, for me I would think going to class would help me relieve the stress from the traffic...
