    Mind,Body and Breath

    Is their any one out there that uses YOGA along with there Martial Arts training and if so what do you think about it?

    I do Yoga for the stretching/flexibility aspects....its a great addition. Don't let anyone think you are gay for doing Yoga and martial arts. Some argue that yoga is incorporated in various forms as well.

    Thanks for your replys,I have found that yoga helps me to focus on what is true in nature, it brings the mind and body together and along with breath control brings a balance into my life and my martial arts training. i wish i would have studied it years ago. along with qigung it is a great internal strength builder.
    after all, yoga has been around for 6500 years and it is still being practiced in great numbers today,that says alot in itself.

    you can not be without it and expect to be effichent in combat, you must combine both inter and outer together in order to complete the circle, ie: yin yang
