This is official? I hope they have a rape counselor on hand for him (Duffee) afterward.

It's being reported as such at least. Duffee must be a desperate man, although anyone is beatable, right? :P
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

Nah, why? A contract with DREAM is a fairly high incentive.

If we rule out that the promotion itself will go down, it's a safer bet than, say, SF, at the moment, and the cross-promotion thing is very comfortable for fighters that get small paychecks. My bet is that Duffee will end up in Belator in the US, and DREAM in Japan.

That, if he still takes his fighting career seriously.

P.S. Is this a good or a bad thing? I just can't say.

This should be a good card. JLB I feel could win this as he's got more MMA experience than Ishii, and he does have a win over Akiyama. Sapp/Suzukawa looks like it will just be a prowrestling match. Fernandes I think will still beat Takaya. Sakuraba should have retired long ago, and I doubt finally cutting weight will somehow reinvigorate him. I'm not sure how serious the Aoki/Nagashima fight will be, so it may just go to a draw (it's a draw if there is no stoppage) but the 5 min of MMA helps Aoki more than the 3 min of K-1 helps Nagashima. I have a feeling Crusher will be able to grind out a win over Thomson. I think Miyata will out wrestle Uno, but I'd love to see Uno get a win. I see both kickboxers winning their K-1 matches as well. Tokoro should beat Watanabe, but it should also be one of the best fights of the event. As for High/Sakurai, Sakurai hasn't looked like his heart was in it for ages, so I don't see him winning this. I also see Minowaman beating Izumi.

Just a somewhat related note: Duffee had to drop out of a fight with TUF vet Abe Wagner to take this fight, and Tim Sylvia is going to be fighting Wagner instead.

Well, I have a few things to say:

    Spoiler:
Obviously a bunch of my predictions were wrong. The Tokoro/Watanabe fight was a lot of fun. Overeem looked dominant again and picked up some more hardware. Takaya looked good against Fernandes and Kawajiri looked great. Hopefully, he'll get the next crack at Melendez in Strikeforce. I'm kind of happy that the ear stopped Sakuraba before he suffered another KO, but I really wish he would just retire. As for Aoki, hopefully he learned his lesson about not clowning around and shooting a lazy double. Nagashima did a great job at timing the shot though.
