OP, if you are not looking for an ass kicking rough on your body and soul stile, it seems the KM is a good choice if you have a good trainer. The most important thing is to be realistic about what you are going to get, even if you do the o so popular BJJ and MT, but only twice a week, you are not going to be this dangerous street fighter.. so as long as you are realistic with yourself, just enjoy something that is close to home and fun, that is the key. But, if you realy want to man up, and have some success with the ladies, the manly art is the way to go.
Do you guys have the belt system there? back in the late 80's and early 90's when i did KMI, we had belts and a gee like uni'. -

@erezb: No belts, no uniform. And yeah I'm having fun :) Not in it to become a dangerous street fighter but to be able to defend myself should I have absolutely no other option. The TKD is purely for flexibility and I wanted to try out a more classic MA. And I train 3 times a week :P -
