So there's a Krava Maga school opening in my town
I randomly came across Bullshido a year ago and decided to lurk here, and later post, because I like your sense of humor. Unfortunately I dont actually practice any kind of martial art so I'm considering picking something for my 2011 new years resolution.
Yes I know;"JUDO! JUDO! JUDO!". But I read a Krav Maga school is going to open in my town and it made me a bit curious. I read a lot of negative things about the Krav on bullshido but I thought I'd visit the website anyway: http://www.g-safe.nl/
The vid's made me lol :
YouTube - Trailer G Safe Opening M.mov
YouTube - G-Safe Krav Maga.m4v
BTW most of the footage was shot in another town (Maastricht).
Instructor diploma's : http://www.g-safe.nl/?page_id=15
What are Bullshido's thoughts on this place?

Don't do it!
Find a BJJ school.
Not seeing any protective gear of any kind or even mats. That means no hard or even medium sparring, stay away.
Plus, the whole slap every part of someone's body looks like a karate drill I did as a kid where you have to 'find how many places you can strike on a person'. This is very bad.
Since you're from the Netherlands, I'd see if there was a Muay Thai place nearby, I understand the Dutch are big on it (and on Judo, of course)
I have found that Krav Maga schools in Europe TEND to be better than the ones in the US. However from the clips I don't think I would recommend this school.
Xiao Ao Jiang Hu Zhi Dong Fang Bu Bai (Laughing Proud Warrior Invincible Asia) Dark Emperor of Baji!!!
Didn't anyone ever tell him a fat man could never be a ninja
You can't practice Judo just to win a Judo Match! You practice so that no matter what happens, you can win using Judo!
The key to fighting two men at once is to be much tougher than both of them.
Take a piss on the floor and then challenge them to a naked submission grappling deathmatch.
Or Kyokushin (not to sound biased myself).

Is it related to Krav Maga?
I'm sounding like a broken record but its not good in America. Real Krav Maga has one using sticks and sand, do you see any sticks and sand in America?
Come on he's blatantly a troll - netherlands? Give me a break that's where Peter Pan is from I wasn't born yesterday
