I first posted defending breaking techniques and telling the posters if they thought karate sucked then go enter a Kyokushin tournie.
Hmmm, eight years later I'm still saying the same bullshit."Preparing mentally, the most important thing is, if you aren't doing it for the love of it, then don't do it." - Benny Urquidez

I took Isshinryu and did naihanchi kata crap and practiced strikes that would defend against grapplers on "t3h street."
I don't know why, it seems these last few months were my period of Enlightenment?

When I first came to Bullshido I thought I just sucked at sparring/grappling.
Turns out I was/am just a *****. I still suck at sparring/grappling but I'm not afraid to suck at it anymore.
I still cry myself to sleep though.

Now I'm a BJJ purple belt and I still don't know anything.
OH WAIT! I know a choke.
also HungryJoe was recovering from a shoulder injury and gave me my first green varrot.

When I first came to Bullshido, the year was nineteen-dickety-two.
Clyde was talking a lot of trash and showing us t3h r34l kempo at the throwdowns (including myself), baffling some.
Boyd was posting hilarious stuff regularly.
Dr X was pissing everyone off with his posting style and ridiculous sig and avatar.
Sirc and ICY had a troll gongsau that disappointed everyone (because we all wanted to see Sirc get Canadian pro-wrestled).
AR549 was just starting his Dog Brothers and military trolling.
Ninja Death Squid was a thing.
Throwdowns were in North County San Diego instead of LA/Ventura so I didn't have to drive so far to meet other weirdos from the Internet.
And we called French fries "freedom fries", and coleslaw "liberty cabbage".

1.2 was still teaching crappling to his krotty students. And I still believed that t43 deadly was the bets way to fight and I was looking for a safe way to pressure test it.

When I beginning of Dec 2002, this forum and the world did not understand true Wing Chun. Now they have only strayed further and when the real truth comes out they will be shocked.Surfing Facebook at work? Spread the good word by adding us on Facebook today! https://www.facebook.com/Bullshido
