    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Scope for my mosin

Thinking about putting an optical thingy on my rifle to make small stuff bigger and easier to hit.

I'd like some input on a decent scope that doesn't ruin the "feel" of the gun if that makes sense.

Any fellow stalinist cannon owners out there with thoughts?
There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice.

Are you looking to keep it looking as if it was made that way?

Here is a "reproduction" scope mount from aimsurplus:

Also, check the gun shows. You should be able to find soviet mounts and scopes for a reasonable price. Good Luck.

I would like to sort of preserve the feel and look of the stock gun but I'm not a perfectionist re historical accuracy.

Most mounts do not integrate with the overall look of the m44. It si not a pretty rifle.

The mount pictured is not historically accurate. I shoot mine iron sights and for accuracy extend the bayonet.

I think it's very pretty. You kids today with your skinny rifles! There's nothing wrong with a little more wood on the stock, if u know what i mean
