Research suggests this is only good for short term weight loss. To keep the fat away, one should also maintain a steady weight lifting regime. 1lb of muscle burns 50 calories a day doing nothing. So i'd reccomend a diet with a mild strength training program to reduce the fat of the lip. Or ice.
