in a daily workout I only do the major stretches: hurdler, split, arms.
Detailed stretching i only do once or twice a week.
How long should you hold stretches? I have always held them for like 3 or 4 good 15-25 second for a while I used to count to 40 or a minute. My muscles wouldn't feel like they were loosening until about 30 seconds. But someone told me that you should only stretch for about 10 seconds. What's right?
Currently, I hold my stretches for about 20 - 25 seconds. -
