Thanks for the suggestions... Peedee, the video sounds good, I ordered it this morning.
I'll try the squeezing thing and see if it helps.
Sam, I kinda like your idea....And hey, even if it doesn't work, being surrounded by sweaty women sounds good!!!

in a daily workout I only do the major stretches: hurdler, split, arms.
Detailed stretching i only do once or twice a week.
How long should you hold stretches? I have always held them for like 3 or 4 good 15-25 second for a while I used to count to 40 or a minute. My muscles wouldn't feel like they were loosening until about 30 seconds. But someone told me that you should only stretch for about 10 seconds. What's right?
Currently, I hold my stretches for about 20 - 25 seconds.

Thanks Michael....I think Peedee made a good point about heavy streching. I've been streching hard every day for nearly a month and actually think I have lost flexibility. I'm definitely a little sore from pushing so hard.

In addition to stretching I do Tai Chi. Great stuff, but I'm not surrounded by the same pretty girls I am in my TKD class. Nope, I got old people.
