He is masquerading as this French Judo Master that gave him his BJJ black and his Judo black. According to him (the french judo master) he received his BB from Carlson at the same time that Wallid did.

EDIT: He is also claiming that he served with the Screaming Eagles 101st Airborne in the US army for 2 years in 1999 and 2000. He is digging a deeper grave for himself.

Perhaps giving them a link to pownetwork.org would be in order? They may have got enough info on Lang for the POWnetwork to pull his records...

IIRC from the Decyk thread there mmaguy30 was in the military, and that's why he takes particular offense to claims of military experience.

EDIT: therefore i'd assume they/he has that information, as he's used it before.

We shall see. I hit up the 101st Airborne assoc to see if I can get insight from them as to Lang's service.

It's just a large group of coincidences with that. Lang is claiming to have been in the 101st, but there was a David Lang who served with them during Viet Nam, and he is a retired Master Sergeant. Maybe he felt that no one would check up on that too deeply, and if they did they would see his name.

Oh and David Lang, was the screenwriter for the Screaming Eagles movie about the D-Day invasion.

Unfortunately for us, there seems to be enough people with the name David Lang running around that it's difficult to immediately weed out what's fact and what's fiction.

Very true. Another wrinkle is it seems he is claiming to have worked at Tai Kai JJ in Liverpool. Is that the same place the Jay Russell was claiming to have gotten his BJJ black.

Looks like a local Ithaca paper wants to a story either on Lang himself, or the fact that there are so many fraudulent BJJ black belts selling services that they have no right to sell.

The thot plickens like a nice gravy!

Hmmm. Someone contacted MMAguy and apparently told him that Lang was born in Long Island, NY (not Brazil or Argentina, as he was claiming).

The more I read of this, the more I wonder about this guy's mental state.
