I have contacts in Brazil....they are going to hit up Wallid and see if he even knows Lang...should find out in a couple of days

Please see if they can get Wallid to issue some sort of letter that can be reproduced. Otherwise you get some third hand anonymous report. "A contact of mine spoke to W, and he said X". This is worthless for investigations.

Yeah I will......The guy I contacted said that as far as he knows Wallid has not given anybody a black belt even in Brazil. He is going to contact Wallid directly and ask him about Lang. I gave him Lang's website info too.

I'll check with the Big three on his "Judo Jui jitsu" credentials. I know there will be none, but I will check anyway. We could be pleasantly surprised.

I had sent an e-mail to Wallid Ismail on December 13th. I sent it several potential email addresses (Jungle FC, old MySpace account, and another I randomly came across). I haven't heard any response.

Here is an original screenshot of LangMMA's site:

When seeing that he listed he was a Gracie Combatives school, I went to the Combatives web site to verify that he was a 'certified' school.

I could find no listing for Lang MMA or anything close to that in Ithaca, NY. I sent an e-mail to the Combatives/Academy people to see if they had him listed anywhere (maybe not on the site yet?), but I have not had a response.

As a result of the UG thread, Mr Lang has changed his instructor's page:

The underlined text are not links. They go nowhere. He has completely gutted his bio.

Notice that the wrestling coach is no longer listed.

Notice that the 'Gracie Combatives' claim has been removed as well.

I'm still reading through the UG thread, but the link posted above to T-Rex appears to be a good summary so far.

The guys at UG got in contact with Wallid and he is supposed to be responding. The guy is claiming he got his BJJ black from a french Judoka Gilbert Pouillart, who is supposedly a BB under Wallid.

And the site is MMAGuy30 from UG.

I've been following the UG thread myself. They've really done a number on him over there.

Jay (David) Standish, the guy who was teaching wrestling at Lang's school has publicly denounced him as a result and is aiding the investigation/lynch mob over there.

This was the blue belt cert that Lang gave him, which he was horrified to discover wasn't worth the paper it was printed on (I'm not up on BJJ politics - but a cert in Gracie Combatives signed by Wallid Ismael is, as I understand it, something that is never going to happen in a million years):

There's supposedly a video response from Wallid Ismael going up tonight. He's rather angry, by all accounts.
