    Camp Skeletor 2011...Begin the Planning

    ...and release the hounds.

Any of you thinking of attending; I've spoken with my instructors and I confirmed at least 5/6 of them. We haven't confirmed a lesson plan, yet...but our time to put in for vacation is about 5-6 weeks out. We *will not* be able to do this in the Spring. Simply put...there are too many work-related obligations that people have to accomodate a Spring event...seeing as nearly every "Spring Break" (depending on your state or locality) is scheduled for a different week.

This leaves us sometime between late June and the 2nd week of August (also perhaps the last week in August). Times are going to have to coincide with range availability and instructor availability. I'll be posting final dates as soon as we can get a consensus as to who is attending. I'm going to cut the camp size off at 12 once again.

In another couple of weeks, we're going to have our "open enrollment" period. I'll have a loose itinerary up in a few weeks...followed up by a more structured outline in the weeks to follow. If we cannot fill the ranks with Bullshido people, I will likely invite some people from the HK/FN Forums if we have slots available.

I'm in. Probably my brother as well, since he missed last year's.

Sucks we'll be doing it in the summer again, though. Heat was awful last year.

Yeah, I know man. Nothing I can do about it. It's not about me...I can do it anytime...but the guys who are helping me, I've got to work through them and see what's good for them as well. The heat sucks....yes. But...our training venue is likely going to change...although we might go back there for a night-time visit.

What state or area would this most likely happen in?

I've been informed by Plazma & Stick that I have no choice in the matter.

I will be there as long as it doesn't coincide with my training with Vu in California.

For the better or worse? That place was optimal.

I'll start petitioning the soon to be spousal unit for permission to go this time. Main concern though is that August is the busiest time of year at work as kids are going back to school and parents wait til the last minute to bring them in for exams.

My wife has promised me I can go this year. Stupid friends got married that weekend last year. Nothing will stop me. Nothing.
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

I'm not letting Bodhi108/DerAuslander hog all the fun without me. I'm in so long as you don't overlap my family trip to Ireland in July. *Crossing fingers*
