OMG, that's a kettle of fish you don't want to open! Let's put it this way. Nobody heard of Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun until a year or two ago, and no Wing Chun guy in mainland China ever heard of it either.

IN ALL DIRECTIONS,THERE IS ONE FAMILY

Is your cup so full that it has no room for nothing else?

Ten years of research and travel has documented evidence of Hung Fa Yi history and lineage.

Grandmaster Garrett Gee released these secrets to the public so as not to lose the system withen the secret socities of china as he was ask to do by his own instructor Wong Ming.

Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kuen is the finished results of the Shaolin Monks and Ming Dynasty high leavel Warriors,1200 years of in the field and in the kwoon study and research development. It is truly a science.

    Thanks for your reply,

Would you mind posting a direct link? I hate the vtmuseum site.

What do you do when taken to the ground? I didn't see any defenses for this.

Not another Wing Chun lineage debate !!!!!
    NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!

May I say that, NO ONE gives a flying **** who taught whom what and when and where !!
Just bring on your Wing Chun and prove how good it is aginst all comers and then ALL will be satisfied and that will be the end of that.

Oh Lord, Ronin has made a reasonable comment on a wing chun thread. Surely the signs of Apocalypse are dawning upon us.

Thanks for the links threefingers. Will check them out.

Three Fingers. Research by who? People unaffiliated with HFY? I don't want to get into a lineage debate, and I must say now that I DONT MIND THE EXISTENCE OF ANOTHER WING CHUN SYSTEM, OR EVEN A NEW WING CHUN SYSTEM. Just don't claim years of false research. I would not mind if the creators of HFY just admitted what it ia. A newly made up version of Wing Chun. A version of Wing Chun in fact that is pretty much a carbon copy of William Cheung's, but with the terminology changed around to sound mystcial and confusing. If any of you guys feel I am over reacting, fine. Take a read of the HFY book first and then tell me. You'll find all sorts of mystcal and over complex theoretical terminaology BS that this site is completely against in the first place.

But hey, who am I to suggest that people are honest in their martial arts. Hey let's just con people out of their money for a 'secret style'. As long as one can fight everything is okay :(
