Ok, those of you who're knowledgeable about MA, would you explain what's wrong with his fighting techniques?

To my untrained eye, except for the "spastic flailing" knife fighting, the rest of it looks like MMA.

Not when you consider that's pretty much everybody too dumb to avoid the conscription and subsequent vodka-pickling and buggery.

They're flailing so much that they're unable to act decisively. Their strikes and kicks have no power behind them, and it looks like they're trying to "flow" more than they're trying to win. Opponents like that aren't common in real life.

The big test for anything is training with resistance, and nothing in those videos shows that at all.

-NO Form - He's swinging his weapon & kicking at the same time? Often while on 1 leg? This is bullshit.

-NO Technique - When you strike with a weapon, you have a specific target that your are striking. All I see here is random circular, choppy swinging without purpose and direction. This is also bullshit.

Defensive Technique - Where were they? On vacation? I saw no defensive technique here.

-NO Footwork - All I see here is strange, random, awkward steps. The constant kicking while moving backward and forward is not only unnecessary but leaves your balance compromised, and expands a great deal of energy. If you think footwork is unnecessary, then by all means continue to do so.

In short this reminds me of how shrieking school girls fight with their arms swinging in forward constant motion while simultaneously trying to kick their opponent.

This is a most unmanly fighting "form".
