I live in the UK and I want some wrestling shoes.. Bad times.
I'm looking for wrestling shoes in the UK, which so far has been incredibly difficult. Some recommendations on brands would also be useful.
The last pair I had were a second hand pair of Asics, which I started using when my expensive fragile addidas boxing boots fell apart.
I want a pair capable of taking some punishment. I'm pretty lead footed and grounded (which is probably why my boxing shoes fell to bits), and seeing as I'll be using them for greco and boxing, they'll need to be pretty durable.
So far all I've been able to find is addidas, and to be honest I'm really not impressed with the quality of their gear. Nike is probably also out of the picture, I'm not looking to spend more than about £30 (nowhere near that unless it's totally necessary)."The hero and the coward both feel the same thing, but the hero projects his fear onto his opponent while the coward runs. Everybody I train with including myself use adidas wrestling boots and they are ok.
In fact one of the guys who trains with us used to be ranked 6th in the world and is a 7 time polish champion and former olympian and he wears adidas boots.
Adidas boxing gloves on the other hand are expensive and really **** quality.King without a crown

I've got a pair Adidas Vaporspeed Blue
and a pair Adidas Tyrint III Red
Both are great wrestling shoes. I use them for Freestyle Wrestling.Originally Posted by Jiujitsu77Originally Posted by HumanzeeOriginally Posted by jk55299 on Keysi Fighting Method

Some types of indoor soccer shoes can also work in this role for MMA training. Especially if you can't find hightop wrestling shoes.

I have wide feet so I have always preferred Asics over the narrower soled Adidas and Nike wrestling shoes.
