Judo in the UFC

We know the Gracies at least trained SAMBO and wrestling before UFC. As well as trained Judo. They borrowed techniques from these arts to add to their repitore. Is it fair to call it PURE BJJ when so much is borrowed?

But you KNOW they trained other arts but dont know WHO they trained with or where?

How did you come to the conclusion they trained in other arts then?

Well he mounted Yoshida, took his back a bunch of times and slapped the shiit out of him.

All that PLUS Yoshida is a 220lbs WORLD CHAMPION judoka and Royce is a skinny 180lbs BJJ guy that cant even win a world title to save his life.

And Royce IS cross trained NOW. I'm talking about back in th early UFC's.

I really want to train at Gracie Barra though with him. i wonder if he still teaches alot there or if he has his black belts teach?

Hapkido? didnt know he trained in that, i've only seen a few highlight clips of the match so i don't really know how it went. How did gracie use hapkido tho? It's funny if he did seeing as alot of people think aikido, hapkido are a waste of time.
