    Hell yeah! Hell no!
SHW olympic lifters are very much buff, they just also have a lot of fat on them.

Here is an example from the powerlifting world.

Yeah their pretty ripped I'm going to look into getting hydro-statically weighed just to make sure my body fat is in the right range and then look into some more max effort routines thanks dude.

Which is kinda my point, alot of muscle first, btw sons definition of "buff" was showing off muscles lol.

Well, you wrote "what YOU would call buff", so I assumed we were using a different definition.

TX: Do you mean you're looking into Westside barbell, or what? What are you defining as a max effort routine?

    What Emevas said.

Less reps, higher weight. Looks like an endurance routine right now, instead of a hypertrophy inducing routine. You could stand to gain more weight; I'm an inch taller than you, and 30 lbs more. This is due to higher calorie intake (about 200-300 calories more than daily maintenance so I don't lose sight of my abs) and lifting heavy with fewer reps.
TxSanshou you're more at 12-14% BF, which is around what I maintain.

Yeah I'm beginning to wonder about my body fat the weird thing is I've had it measured by several trainers and it always comes out to about 5 or 6 percent.

It could be accurate. Bodyfat% can look different with low levels of muscle mass. I read an article about this a while ago, but can't find any picture examples.
