Someone cue up the screaming fatty "it's not christian" lady from wife swap for me please.
I am on my way out the door to do some heavy blankets, jackets, sweaters, and sleeping bags at the laundry mat. So I just have enough time for a quick observation...
You would think someone would spend their time with their family, studying the Bible, touching little kids in Church, or hell even all three instead of wasting their time making a video explaining why those very same things are way more important than other things.

Browsing books.google.com (terms: kano jigoro, full books only) I happened across this... thing: http://books.google.com/books?id=w_9...=0CCkQ6AEwADgK

Probably a discussion for another time - but one which should probably happen at some point...
'Is nutriding a form of idol worship in the eyes of God?'

Coffeefans response was great. Pretty much covered everything. I also think that Whacker is correct about that guy's motivations. However, (and I just need to throw this out there), there really isn't anything in that video that should offend most of us.
I mean, in the grand scheme of life, Judo really isn't that important! lol Saying it ranks somewhere above video games and beneath the Constitution is not really all that earth-shattering because it is fundamentally true. Is anyone here willing to say their training is more important than their family or their job (unless training/teaching IS your job)? And if you are a christian or religious person, your faith probably should be more important to you than Judo as well. Is saying any of that particularly crazy?
Not saying the guy's not a troll. Actually, I'm saying the opposite! He's a damn good one, because if you think about it, he's got people completely up in arms over saying stuff that is essentially true.

And need I remind you all that there have been a ton of threads here on bs.net where people state that MA is about learning to fight, not about becoming a "better person"?
