My prediction is that Machida and Rampage just circle around eachother for three rounds.

I really hope Rampage has a good camp coming into this fight, because I think his choice of the Wolfs Lair was a major error last time as there just isn't the same calibre of sparring partners and tactical/ strategic coaching in the Wolfslair as at Greg Jackson's gym. Does anyone know if he's still at the Wolfslair?

Pretty sure he is, as per this article- http://www.sherdog.com/news/articles...air-Pack-14363

Subsequent reports from leading MMA news sources in the United Kingdom confirmed the former champion had parted ways with manager and trainer Juanito Ibarra and signed a three-year contract with The Wolfslair Academy in Widnes.
Article is dated from September of '08, so unless he broke his contract, he's still with them until next year.

Quinton Jackson vs Lyoto Machida: Machida will get the KO if Rampage comes at him, or pick him apart if he hangs back.
Matt Hughes vs BJ Penn: Based off his last few fights, Hughes is still a serious threat.
George Sotiropoulos vs Joe Lauzon: Pretty much a tossup. Picked George because everyone always picks Lauzon on this site.
Matt Brown vs Brian Foster: Just don't like Matt Brown.
Karo Parisyan vs Dennis Hallman: Just like Karo. Hope he's turned things around.
Nik Lentz vs Tyson Griffin: I love the way Griffin fights. He never slows down.

If I did have to pick a winner, though, it would have to be Rampage.

My reason is that boxing is better than karate.

The Lauzon/Sotiroperwhatever and Hallman/Parisyan fights have a lot of grappletastic potential. I'll have to watch this one.

I didn't realise the Wolfslair was in Widnes, I thought they were in Liverpool itself. I have a friend who lives in Widnes I might go and stay with her for a few days and try and catch a bit of rampage training.

Anyway that probably means Rampage will be lacking in the world class sparring partners he needs, which is a big shame for him, because I think with the right camp he could have beaten Evans and could beat Machida. Although I'm a massive Rampage fanboy.

Honestly, I think Sotiropoulos will beat Lauzon, but I really, really want J-Lau to win.
You know I was happy to see this fight because they're both great fighters, but I gotta back the Aussie :( tis sad, I want them both to win.

it's kind of funny....Rampage has one bad fight and everyone thinks that machida is going to knock him out...Rampage has one of the better chins in the LHW division. Unfortunately, I think Machida will try to out point him. I don't see machida knocking him out. We will see if Rampage is still Rampage and he was just suffering from the layoff and the 45lb cut or if he's a shell of his former self.

Gassing while he had Rashad dead to rights doesn't give me enough information. Rashad didn't whoop anyones ass that's for sure, he won, not doubt about it, but an ass beating? nope. I think Rashad knows it too..he's not wild about fighting anyone for an interim belt.

Anyway, Rampage will knock machida out in the 2nd or it will be the worse fight of the year by far with machida winning by point scoring.
