Swanson Semerzier was fight of the night.

WEC wins. Again. I hope their lower weight classes still have this level of excitement after the merger.

Faber is so appealing. What enery and how much spirit! I'm happy he finally released his choke on Mizugaki, I was afraid Mizu was going to die or have brain damage.

Yeah, that was a little scary.

I always liked Faber, I remember seeing him fight Mike Brown with 2 broken hands, he's got heart in spades.

Another really fun card from WEC. I really enjoyed Damacio Page vs Mighty Mouse. Johnson really has a ton of energy (and funny ears). Faber looked great dropping down a weight class. He may well dominate his new division if he keeps looking this good.

I can see great things for Faber at 135. I'd really like to see Faber vs Torres at some point down the line. Even if that is a less appealing fight than it was a year or two ago/

I'm staying cautiously optimistic about the WEC/UFC merger. Could bring in new guys at the lower weights and better pay.

Faber looked good, but perhaps a touch less explosive. Was the cut real tough for him, maybe? I see him doing well at 135, adn hope he keeps it up.

Glad the ref finally decided to stop him! I didn't like how long that choke was held, but I can't blame Urijah for it. It's not safe to let go before you're stopped, but much longer and there could have been some, uh, issues.

There were tons of great throws in this event. Especially by Damacio Page. Fun event to watch. Anyone know if Page is a trained judoka?
