He could like, bid on and win eBay auctions for his books with no intent to pay. Then leave negative feedback for the buyer with swear words in it and everything.

Just out of curiosity is their any validity to his claims anyone know if the publishers screwed him or if he screwed himself with poorly negotiated owners rights? Are the books he is talking about even copies of what he wrote?
I would imagine if he had a leg to stand on a lawyer would have straightened this out by now(of course that is not always the case).

From what I understand its not too difficult if you actually have a case to get a lawyer who will work for a % of the winning(typically 33%).

The writeup says he lives with daddy, at least at the time it was written.

IANAL but I am an editor. "House name" gigs are usually work-for-hire, so the Haha Lung stuff would not be his to republish in the normal course of events. The rights reversions clause usually are unenforceable in cases of bankruptcy as well. One of the publishers he's talking about is likely Kensington; they are notorious for not wanting to update books, or refresh them with new covers and whatnot, even when news or popularity soars. So it's somewhat likely that Kim is both confabulating and actually did suffer some real reversals in his attempts to update his titles.

I'd imagine that a lawyer would advise Kim to stop declaring internet war on his enemies. He couldn't live with that.

I wouldn't accept even a free pirated copy of even one of Ashida Kim's books.

They're not even deserving of going in my firepit.
