I'm pondering what to do if I ever have anyone walk into the temple's edged weapons class with one of those.

Shoot them tops the list so far.

You don't have to worry. I'm the only one likely to do something asinine like that...

And I simply hate this design. I'm with Mr. Machette: why "improve" on perfection?
