AUU and Freestyle Judo rules?

Couple of solutions:
1.) better referee education and experience
2.) Most important, judoka need to get better at ne waza, and realize that you have to make progress and adjust/train accordingly. Hoping that judo will ever allow the amount of time you get in bjj is not realistic.
3.) Realize that ne waza is optional in Judo, and that one guy can stall the other out, or both guys can just wait for matte'.

Anyone who teaches that throw should be thrown on their own head and shoulder with that technique... they'll never teach it again.

I'm not a big fan of the Freestyle Judo rules because there is no waza-ari or ippon for osaekomi-waza. The way the rules are structured it seems like a BJJ tournament that allows for ippon. Perhaps I'm missing it but it would appear the freestyle judo rule set allows for guard jumping as well.
