Yeah, I see good things coming from Vemola after that. He's like a non-comical Brock Lesnar.

No, he deadlifted his hips. Rogan needs to stop talking about wrestling as if it relied entirely on gorilla-strength.

Sadollah looked really great - technical, crisp, patient, smart, and he stuck with the game plan. I was really impressed with his performance.

I was surprised how much Marquardt / Okami didn't impress me. They both stated that they were going out there to impress after their last (boring) performances...I didn't see anything really Great about Nate, nor did I see Thunder from Okami. Too bad it was a headliner. Other fights were way better.

IMO neither Okami nor Marquardt deserve a shot at Silva. Though it would be hysterical if he DQes himself against Okami again.

I think, to begin with Silva will not get past Belfort.
And then, Belfort vs Okami will be what in Germany is called an "administration fight". - Depending on how Vitor wins against Okami, the UFC will know how to build his brand.

...Also, the real deal, I think, is the UFC's efforts to get on the Japanese market. I mean, two of the recent UFCs featured Japanese fighters as their main event, while other fighters get sidelined. A Japanese UFC champion would be a monumental step in that direction.

Since coming to the UFC 12 wins 2 losses is a pretty damn solid record. I think he deserves it.

Okami is 10-2 in the UFC, not 12-2. However, I do agree that he deserves the title shot. I mean, who else are they going to give it to? Besides, Okami did beat Nate and it's nice to see him finally get a shot.

    Well, obviously to DENNIS SIVER!!!

BECAUSE DENNIS SIVER IS THE MAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAN!!!

(I know he is a lightweight; it's just that I received about 15 calls or messages from pals and palettes asking where I train this "kickboxing with armbars"; and, WINNER, when Siver would fight that wrestler dude Brock LEHNSHERR. :toothy10:)
