    Hell yeah! Hell no!

BJJ united or SemperFi martial arts (PA)

Here are two schools around me that I'm looking into training BJJ ( and some MT) in.

    Here are the websites

    http://www.bjjunited.com/index.html

    http://www.semperfimma.com/index.html

BJJunited I know is a contract place, and I may post the contract if I can get a hold of a copy/ I wanna see if anybody has trained there or does train there and can tell me what there like.

PS-I got a new job and passed my drivers test so I got the green light for martial arts training :-)

From those sites I'd go to BJJ United but as we say in almost every single thread like this go to both schools for a trial class and train with the PEOPLE that you like better.

    an alternate choice…

I think you're pretty close to Precision Jiu-Jitsu, which I highly recommend. It's owned and operated by Black Belt Rob Scheier, to whose awesomeness I can personally attest. Rob also happens to be a training partner and cornerman for UFC fighters Kurt Pellegrino and Greg Soto.

I'm really digging the morning classes. Friday night also has MMA sparring. (I have standup from krav sp I could probably be allowed to do that.) but sadly were looking at twenty miles.

I live in Willow Grove PA so if anybody has info on a good bjj school then please post. Til lthen I'll keep looking

    PS-we do spar in krav.

edit. here is a school that is 12 miles away. the BJJ is nice but no more then 1 day of striking that I can't get to

Twenty miles is too far? Damn, bro, I live more than 50 miles from my gym. Even when I lived close, I was 15 miles away.

Anywho, I've never trained at BJJ United, myself, but my friend Jason Scully (forum member jasculs) is a Black Belt under Jared Weiner and has sung their praises on a number of occasions.

its more of the price of gas then the actual distance. BJJunited seems like the best choice even though there contract, its 3 miles away.

I just need to see how the contract would handle cancellation.

I'll talk to your friend if he still comes on

PEOPLE are more important that times or contracts or distance. If you love the people you train with you will make the other stuff work. Go take a trial class at all the places you are considering and see what you think of your training partners. Training partners can be just as or more important than coaches for your development.
